Disney Land!

Warning lots of pictures of this post. Our family decided after Kent has been gone so much over the last three years we were in desperate need of a family vacation. What better place than Disney Land. Kent had never been before so we were happy to go. I recommend going during February we hardly had to wait in line and we were able to ride the rides 2 or 3 times. It only rained one day we were there and that was the last day we were there.
I love Disney Land it is truly a magical place to go. The kids loved it and to see there faces light up whenever they saw a character or just going on a ride and Kent is defiantly hooked he wants to go back in a few years. Don't worry I didn't post all the 93 pictures we took I just posted some of my favorites.

It wouldn't be Disney Land without meeting Mickey Mouse.

Mark was so mesmerized by Minnie's Nose. It was cute.

Sorry upside down.

Here at Disney Land they have a what they call Jedi Training and if
you are picked you get to go up front and train like a Jedi and in the
you get to fight Darth Vader.

The kids inside Goofy's House.

Just my size.

There you have it some of our pictures. I wanted to post all the ones of the kids meeting every character but I figured that would get boring for you all to see. Again, I highly recommend Disney Land!!

Welcome Back!

Well it's the moment you have all been waiting for... KENT IS HOME! (OK mainly me.) He is through with his 15 month deployment to Iraq. YEAH!!! Last week I got a call from Kent telling me he was flying in to SeaTac Airport in Washington and said he would be there around 11PM. As most of you know I have been living in Utah while he has been gone. I wasn't going to fly out to meet him. He was just going to process in at McChord and fly home to me and the kids when that was through in a couple of weeks. We figured it would be cheaper just to buy him a ticket than to buy all 3 tickets for me and the kids. Our friends were going to pick him up and he would call us when he landed. To make a long story short my friend convinced me(not that it took much convince me) to fly out and surprise him. At 9:40 at night me and the kids are off to Washington to surprise Kent. Are plane landed at 10:50 Seattle time but 11:50 Utah time. Let's just say we were tired and I was just grateful I survived the flight with three kids. It was worth it because when Logan saw his dad he took off running and Kent had no clue. It was a priceless moment and one I wouldn't trade for the world. We than spent the time hanging out with friends and just having a good time. Thanks to them for letting us invade. We are very glad he is home safe and sound and thank you to everyone for all of your prayers and support.

Our friends and us at the airport.
Family reunited.

Logan's Birthday!

Logan turned six years old today. We celebrated his birthday yesterday. (I am sorry to the rest of you who read all this boring detail but it's for Kent.) Anyone who knows Logan knows he LOVES Spiderman. So, he wanted a Spiderman Birthday Party. We made Spiderman Cupcakes and had everything related to Spiderman. Instead of doing a cake walk on normal numbers. I made spiderman webs on paper and they did a web walk. Logan and his friends all had a fun time and he loved his Spiderman Party. Some of his friends hanging out before the rest of the guest arrived.

This is just a picture of the kids in there clothes they got for Christmas
before church. As you can see Anya has to wear her dress up
necklaces. I hope everyone has a fun Christmas and Happy New Year.

An early Christmas Present

Yesterday was the Berry Family Christmas Party. And like most family parties we draw names and exchange gifts. When that time of the party got under way Kent's Sister Tracy hands Logan these beautiful vase full of roses and daisies. (Daisies are my favorite flower.) Logan hands them to me. They were from Kent. He had enlisted his sister in helping pull of this surprise. I was totally shocked because Kent and I don't usually do stuff like this for each other. Were the type of people who don't even really celebrate Valentines Day. I guess were not considered the "romantic type." He had written a letter and was placed inside the flowers. I actually got tears in my eyes. I don't cry very easily. This is probably the best present I have ever gotten. Thanks Tracy and Ryan for your help in pulling this off. And of course thanks Kent for the wonderful present and I can't wait for you to come home.

Reunited

My "survival" friend from from McChord AFB in Washington came for a visit. Her family was here visiting her husbands family for Thanksgiving. Both of our husbands joined the AF at the same time and we arrived at McChord at the same time and became friends. We learned the ropes of the military together. We were both clueless. She helped me survive my first deployment(Kent's deployment) and now she is stuck with me. Even though we no longer live in the same state and they are heading back east and who knows where will end up. We will always have our "survival" friendship that has bonded us together. Thanks for the visit Jamie, Logan loved seeing Carsyn again.

Our cute kids.

Mark is getting so big and here is him eating baby cereal He is my only
kid so far that has actually liked baby cereal.

Anya has become obsessed with holding Mark or having him sit by her.
It was just before bed and I couldn't resist how cute they look
together.

A big week for Logan and Mark is getting big

This week was a big week (kind of) for Logan. On Friday at his school Logan was awarded a medal for participating in reflections this year. He drew a train. The theme was "Beauty is.." He came up with the idea all on his own. I had a friend in my ward watch the other kids so I could enjoy the program. Good job Logan.

Today we had our ward primary program and Logan did an awesome job. He memorized his part and it was kind of a long part. I was worried he might forget some of his lines but he didn't. I love primary programs the children bring such a special spirit that you almost don't want the meeting to end. Logan's Second Grandparents (Ross and Ann that's what we refer them as)came and that made Logan's day. Thanks.

Mark had his 4 month check up at the begging of the month and he is getting so big. He weighs 14.8 and his 26" long. He is rolling all over the place and smiling so much. I can't believe how big he is. Crazy how fast they really grow up. It kind of makes me sad.

My happy guy.

You will notice that I pushed the publish post below before I was ready. Sorry. We had a nice Halloween. The pictures are of us carving pumpkins and Mark watching from his stroller.
The kids in their costumes. Anya was Dora. Logan at first wanted to be Batman and so I bought a pattern to make him a Batman Costume. As Halloween got closer he decided he wanted to be Spider man I should of figured since he is into Spider man. Mark is in a Halloween Sleeper.
I hope you enjoy the pictures and had a great Halloween.
